My name is Yahn ALES, and I'm the founder of Laboratoires IUM Paris.
I've always been passionate about the world of cosmetic care, and convinced that Nature still has many unsuspected resources. It's a family story that began with my grandfather, Patrick ALES, who created the first plant-based hair care products back in 1969...
Since the early 2010s, driven by the conviction that skin needs to be offered active ingredients it knows and knows how to use, I've been working with passionate men and women on an alternative to traditional cosmetics.
The search for natural, effective and responsible products led me down a neglected but promising path in the world of skincare: trace elements.
Driven by the motto: "Primum non nocere" (first, do no harm), I put all my energy into this quest in order to propose an innovation in skincare: IUM, the first certified ORGANIC Oligo Cosmetic© skincare products, born of my passion for nature, and at the service of the skin.
After numerous experiments supported by a team with faith in the ancestral virtues of trace elements, we have obtained results.
They are spectacular.

L’eau dans nos soins est majoritairement remplacée par des hydrolats (des eaux florales riches en actifs), et de l’eau de la Mer d’Iroise : véritable sérum physiologique naturel, afin de proposer des formules 100% actives.
Pour donner davantage de sens à nos soins, tous sont proposés dans des flacons en verre bleu, qui limitent l'exposition des formules à la lumière extérieure, et nous permettent d'en conserver l'efficacité dans le temps. Vissables, tous nos flacons sont réutilisables et recyclables afin de limiter au maximum notre impact sur la nature.
